HISTORY

Summit/Catamount Construction, LLC is a mid-sized General Construction firm located in Berlin, Vermont. The company was formed in 2003, structured as a new partnership between Summit Construction Company, Inc. and Catamount Construction Company in order to expand our ability to successfully complete construction projects and continue to grow and develop new markets.

Summit Construction and Catamount Construction are joint owners and managers of Summit/Catamount, LLC and all new business is contacted by Summit/Catamount, LLC. The combined skills, experience and resources of Peter Schober, owner of Summit Construction and Jack Barnes, owner of Catamount Construction, enable Summit/Catamount, LLC to better serve the needs of our clients, employees and our network of subcontractors and vendors.

Catamount Construction was formed in 1992 and has primarily been involved with competitively bid, bonded, commercial and governmental projects.

John and Ann Wall formed Summit Construction Co. in 1984. Peter Schober bought the business in 1996. Summit has primarily been involved with competitively bid, bonded, commercial and governmental projects and also negotiated commercial projects.
